A mobile court here on Tuesday fined three rice traders Tk 30,000 for using plastic sacks instead of jute sacks for rice packaging at Trimohoni in Keshabpur upazila of Jessore district.

The mobile court, led by Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Sharif Raihan Kabir, conducted a drive in the area in the evening and fined Sonali Rice Mill Tk 20,000, Agrani Traders Tk 5,000 and Jani Enterprise Tk 5,000, for using plastic sacks.
