CMP traffic constable dies with Covid-19 like symptoms
A traffic police constable of Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP) died with coronavirus-like symptoms at a hospital in the port city today.
AFM Jahed, 42, died at 12pm at the Intensive Care Unit of Chattogram General Hospital, said Abu Bakar Siddique, assistant deputy commissioner (public relations) of Chattogram Metropolitan Police.
He had been in home quarantine with Covid-19 like symptoms since June 23. As his condition deteriorated, he was taken to Dampara Police Line Hospital on Tuesday night and later he was shifted to Chattogram General Hospital, Abu Bakar said.
He gave his samples for Covid-19 test on June 25, but the test report has not been received yet, the ADC said.
