Singapore imposes conditions for visitors
The Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) has issued some conditions for travelling to Singapore, Biman MD and CEO Mokabbir Hossain said in a WhatsApp message.
As per the conditions, short-term visa holders or visitors will only be allowed to enter Singapore if they can show medical ground certificate from ministry of health of the respective countries.
However, Singapore citizens and PR holders will not need any permission to enter the country.
Those who have work passes or long-term visit passes will require permission from ministry of manpower before purchasing tickets while student pass holders will need permission from ministry of education.
Transit passengers are allowed for immediate connection and can't leave Changi airport.They must have onward confirmed ticket and baggage should be checked-in up to final destination.
All travelers have to follow health instructions of the country, the message said.
There are some important Information for the passengers of Bangladesh:
1. Covid-19 test certificate from Bangladesh is not required to enter Singapore
2. Health declaration is required. No cough, no fever, no Covid-19 symptoms like runny nose, short breath, etc.
3. All types of passengers shall go for isolation for 14 days on arrival at Singapore. Passenger will have to bear the hotel accommodation cost(Approx. SGD 2200). Covid-19 test will be done at Singapore.
4. Nobody can receive any travelers at Changi airport.
