NUB on creating self branding awareness among students and faculty members

NUB Business School organised a Facebook live event titled "Leveraging Self Branding through Social Media" on October 30, 2020 where the Head of Marketing of The Daily Star, Md. Tajdin Hassan, and Rafeed Chowdhury who is an author and Head of Product at Torun shared their thoughts and insights about self-branding on social media.

Benazir Rahman, Assistant Professor of NUB moderated the session.

Tajdin Hassan started sharing his words with what self branding is by creating a thin line between self bragging and self branding.

According to Hassan, "Personal Brand is the most unique asset and the most powerful marketing tool that you could use to your advantage."

"Building up a personal brand has a ton of benefits, both personally and professionally, and it can help open many doors for you in the future. But for this we've to start from building the very basic foundation," added Rafeed Chowdhury.

Throughout the session, he mentioned all the tricks and techniques of self branding through social media as a student.

It was a great opportunity for the graduates and other students to hear from people with so much real-life experience and ask questions in the live session.
