Brazil and Argentina to give Copa America trophy to B-baria after final
The football teams of Brazil and Argentina have decided to send the Copa America trophy to Brahmanbaria after the final tomorrow.
The eternal rivalry between the South American football giants is most keenly felt thousands of kilometres away in Brahmanbaria. Supporters of the two teams clash regularly and a recent clash right after Argentina qualified for the final saw two families going at it.
The clash was very similar to a football match, with each family scoring hits on counterattacks. But there was no laser involved.
The heated clashes drew the attention of both Neymar and Messi, and they both agreed that they had not seen passion for football like it existed in Brahmanbaria.
So, both teams decided to hand over their trophy to the people of Brahmanbaria, regardless of whoever wins tomorrow.
"Brahmanbaria deserves this trophy more than us. Their dedication, struggle, fight and all these debates show they care about us more than our fellow countrymen," said Messi, and Neymar agreed.
Football fever has infected all of Brahmanbaria ever since the two teams reached the final. Fighting with others on behalf of Brazil and Argentina has always been a tradition in the district.
"If you cannot fight by taking the side of your favourite team, what type of supporter are you?" a proud Brahmanbarian asked.
"We fight to defend ourselves, our team and most importantly our tradition. And look where fighting has brought us – we are now known all over the world. Copa America is coming home!" an optimistic local said.
People of Brahmanbaria have been celebrating this announcement from Brazil and Argentina by arranging a wrestling competition.
