Spinner Nasum Ahmed and ace left-arm paceman Mustafizur Rahman took four wickets each to help Bangladesh bundle out New Zealand for a meagre 93 in 19.3 overs in the fourth T20I at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur today.

While Nasum dismantled the Kiwi top and middle order to finish with career-best T20I figures of four for 10 in four overs that included a wicket-maiden and a double-wicket maiden, Mustafizur ran through the visitors' line-up at the death to end with four wickets for 12 runs in his 3.3 overs.

Having picked up the wickets of Tom Blundell and Cole McConchie in the 16th over, Mustafziur wrapped it up by removing Will Young and Blair Tickner in successive deliveries in the final over.

New Zealand's Young was their lone warrior as the right-hander, despite running out of partners, scored a 48-ball 46 to help the visitors avoid absolute humiliation in a slow and turning Mirpur pitch.

Fizz picks up two in one over

Ace left-arm pacer Mustafizur Rahman provided a double blow to an already struggling New Zealand in their fourth T20I at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur today.

With a slower ball, Mustafizur first picked up the wicket of Tom Blundell as the right-hander could not put much power behind his drive and ended up chipping it to Mohammad Naim, who took an excellent diving catch going to his left from mid-off.

Mustafizur then took a one-handed catch off his own bowling after a cutter had seen Cole McConchie chip it towards the bowler in the final delivery of the 16th over.

Nasum's four leaves Kiwis reeling

Just when New Zealand were looking to recover after losing two early wickets, spinners Mahedi Hasan and Nasum Ahmed struck to put the visitors on the back foot once again in a slow and turning Mirpur pitch in their fourth T20I today.

Left-arm spinner Nasum had already picked up both Kiwi openers -- Finn Allen and Rachin Ravindra -- early. But then New Zealand skipper Tom Latham and Will Young stuck around to stitch a 35-run third-wicket stand to bring some stability to the Kiwi innings.

However, just when it seemed the visitors were recovering, they suffered another slump. Mahedi had Kiwi skipper Latham stumped in the 11th over after the left-hander danced down the track but only to completely miss the delivery that took a sharp turn away.

Nasum then bowled a double-wicket maiden in the very next over. He tossed a ball up, inviting left-handed Henry Nicholls for a drive and the ball just went through the batsman's bat and pad as it turned sharply. Nasum then picked up the wicket of Colin de Grandhomme in the very next ball. Grandhomme, who has been struggling for runs in this entire series, nicked one back to the wicketkeeper as he tried to push at a turning away delivery.

Nasum finished with career-best T20I figures of four for 10 in his four overs that included a wicket-maiden and a double-wicket maiden.

Nasum removes Kiwi openers early

Left-arm spinner Nasum Ahmed struck twice early in the game as he removed both New Zealand openers after the Kiwis won the toss and elected to bat in the fourth T20I of the five-match series at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur today.

Nasum, who has been extracting turns off the surface from the very first delivery, had left-handed opener Rachin Ravindra holed out to short fine leg in the penultimate delivery of the game's opening over. Ravindra, trying to sweep an outside off delivery that was turning into him, top-edged it and a diving Mohammad Saifuddin managed to hold on to a good catch.

Nasum struck once again in his next over. This time, it was mostly due to opener Finn Allen's foolishness as the right-hander tried to reverse-sweep and only sliced it up for an easy catch to point. Allen had struck Shakib Al Hasan for a maximum with a reverse-sweep in the previous over, but given how the ball has been turning, it was not wise of the batsman to try it once again.
