The newly formed five-member Evaly board today sealed off four of it warehouses in Savar.

The board led by Evaly Chairman former Justice Shamsuddin Chowdhury Manik visited the warehouses this afternoon and sealed off a warehouse inside Pink Food Industrial Park in Aminbazar area and three warehouses in Boliyapur area, reports our Savar correspondent.

Evaly MD and Additional Secretary Mahbub Kabir Milon was also present at the time.

"We have held our third board meeting today. It is not possible right now to say the number of properties Evaly own. We will an inventory on the spot and then it will be audited," said the Evaly chairman.

He said the HC has given them two options -- one is to run Evaly if it is possible and the other is to ascertain the number of assets through audit and take measures for customer's refund.

"We will bring all the assets under control by inspecting and auditing the warehouses in different parts of the country," added Manik.

"We are not thinking of the second option at this moment, we are optimistic. If we can, we will continue the business which will be beneficial. However, it is not possible to say at that moment. First, we will try to bring out the complete financial prospect of the organization," said Evaly MD Milon.

The High Court on October 18, formed the five-member board to run Evaly in the absence of its incarcerated directors to find a way to refund money of the controversial E-commerce platform's long line of customers.
