Bangladesh overtake Pakistan in ICC ODI rankings

Tamim Iqbal-led Bangladesh team's recent white-ball success in South Africa has enabled the Tigers to climb to sixth place in the ICC ODI rankings and, by doing so, the men in red in green are placed ahead of Pakistan.

Bangladesh, with 93.05 rating points, are marginally ahead of Pakistan, who have 92.5 points. South Africa now lie ahead of the Tigers (102) in fifth place in the latest rankings, updated on Tuesday, which sees New Zealand on top with 121 rating points.   

The Tigers, who pulled off an unprecendented 2-1 ODI series win against the Proteas at their own backyard, will take on the hosts in a two-match Test series, starting from Thursday in Durban.
