31 hospitalised with dengue
As soon as the monsoon starts, the number of dengue patients goes up at city hospitals. Recently, healthcare facilities are reporting an increase of such cases. The photo was taken at a ward in Mugda General Hospital yesterday.

At least 31 dengue patients were hospitalised in Dhaka in the last 24 hours till 8:00am yesterday.
With this, the total number of dengue patients rose to 661, according to the Directorate General of Health Services.
For all latest news, follow The Daily Star's Google News channel. Among the patients, 90 are still undergoing treatment. Of them, three are from outside Dhaka. A total of 571 patients have been released. There is no report of death so far.
