Army IBA BLC wraps up the Grand Finale of Marketiniac 2.0

On June 25, Army IBA Business and Leadership Club kicked off its signature event Marketiniac 2.0.

The competition catered to all the undergraduate students of Bangladesh with the goal to provide them with the experience of 360-degree marketing problems faced by brands. 430 teams took part in the competition.

After two breathtaking rounds, only five teams qualified for the Grand Finale namely IBA - University of Dhaka, North South University, Islamic University of Technology, BRAC University, and Bangladesh University of Professionals. 

On August 20 the final of Marketiniac 2.0 was held at the Tawfiq Aziz Khan Seminar Hall of The Daily Star. To assess the finalist teams, MD. Khaledul Hassan, Digital Distribution Deputy Director, Banglalink; Mamun Atik, Deputy Chief of Business Development, Bongo; Shuvashish Roy, Head of Business, The Daily Star; and Arafat Hossain, Head of Media Planning, Daraz attended as the prestigious judges of the Grand Finale. 

MD. Tajdin Hassan, Chief Marketing Officer, Daraz also attended the event as the Chief Guest and delivered the opening speech. 

El Pensadors from Brac University snatched the victory to become the champion of Marketiniac 2.0, The Garrison from IBA became the 1st Runners up, and Team Warm from Islamic University of Technology became the 2nd Runners Up. 

The champions were awarded BDT 60 thousand prize money, the first runners-up received BDT 40 thousand prize money, and the second runners-up received BDT 20 thousand prize money along with gifts from Dabur, Bombay Sweets, Bongo, and Bohubrihi.
