Arifin Shuvoo signs ‘Football 71’

Action star Arifin Shuvoo has signed director Anam Biswas's government grant football film, "Football 71". The film's script has been written by the director himself.

Known for Jaya Ahsan starrer "Debi", Biswas has set the plot of the new project in 1971.

"This is a big-budget film, and I am excited for it," said Shuvoo to The Daily Star. "I've signed it because I love the script. Something great awaits everyone."

The film's shooting will start in February. An official announcement will come soon.

In the coming year, Arifin Shuvoo's "Black War", "Noor" and "Mujib" await release. He will also star in a romantic film, directed by Mizanur Rahman Aryan.
