Liton climbs to 11th in Test batter's rankings

Bangladesh batter Liton Das's rise in international cricket continues as the 28-year-old now has climbed to 11th in the latest ICC Test batter's rankings which is the highest ever by any Bangladesh batter.

With 702 points, the right-handed batter has surpassed Australia's Usman Khawaja who slipped to 12th, while New Zealand's Daryl Mitchell with 716 points sits 10th.

Liton made 2022 his own scoring 1921 runs overall across the three formats at an average of 40.02 after a disappointing 2021 that saw him get dropped from the T20 side.
