Stocks open lower
All indexes of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) fell in the morning session today.
The DSEX, the benchmark index of the premier bourse in Bangladesh, lost 6 points, or 0.1 per cent, to 6,272 at 11:35 am.
Turnover, an important indicator of the market, stood at Tk 297 crore.
Of the securities, 36 advanced, 119 declined and 127 did not show any price movement.
The Caspi, the all-share price index of the Chittagong Stock Exchange, fell 13 points, or 0.07 per cent, to 18,519.
Of the issues, 24 rose, 41 retreated and 31 did not see any price swing.
