The DSEX, the benchmark index of the top bourse in Bangladesh, inched up 2 point, or 0.37 per cent, to 6,209 at 11:50 am.

Turnover stood at Tk 115 crore.

Of the securities, 54 advanced, 29 declined and 173 remained unchanged.

The Caspi, the all-share price index of the Chittagong Stock Exchange, lost 13 points, or 0.07 per cent, to 18,310.

Of the issues, 18 rose, 28 retreated, and 60 saw no price movement.

Turnover of the port city bourse stood at Tk 2.5 crore at 11:55 am.
