Stocks on Dhaka and Chattogram bourses rose slightly in the morning trade today.

The DSEX, the benchmark index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), edged up 6 point, or 0.11 per cent, to 6,200 at 11:10 am.

Turnover stood at Tk 131 crore.

Of the securities, 80 advanced, 16 declined and 137 remained unchanged.

The Caspi, the all-share price index of the Chittagong Stock Exchange, gained 9 points, or 0.04 per cent, to 18,289.

Of the issues, 31 rose, six retreated, and 15 saw no price movement.

Turnover of the port city bourse stood at Tk 1.5 crore at 11:15 am.
