Shoriful removes Moor to leave Ireland five down
Bangladesh left-arm pacer Shoriful Islam sent back right-handed batter PJ Moor to break a 38-run stand for the fifth wicket to leave Ireland five down for 56 after the end of the 34th over in the morning session on the third day of the one-off Test against Ireland at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur.
Ireland had been reduced to 27 for four in the final session of Day two but Harry Tector and Moor staged a stubborn resistance as they largely managed to keep the Bangladesh bowlers at bay in the first hour of play on Day three. However, Moor couldn't help himself when Shoriful presented him with a short, and wide delivery to which the right-handed batter threw his arms out only to nick it to the keeper.
Moor hit three boundaries for his 78-ball 16. His dismissal brought Lorcan Tucker to the crease, with Tector unbeaten on 25.
Ireland trailed by 99 runs after the end of the 34th over.
