The prime index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) rose slightly in the morning trade today.

The DSEX, the benchmark index of the top bourse in Bangladesh, edged up 2 points, or 0.03 per cent, to 6,217 at 12:10 pm.

Turnover stood at Tk 313 crore.

Of the securities, 49 advanced, 42 declined and 190 remained unchanged.

The Caspi, the all-share price index of the Chittagong Stock Exchange, rose 17 points, or 0.09 per cent, to 18,348.

Of the issues, 27 rose, 13 retreated, and 50 saw no price movement.

Turnover of the port city bourse stood at Tk 7.6 crore at 12:15 pm.
