The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) rose in the morning session today.

The DSEX, the benchmark index of the top bourse in Bangladesh, gained 12 points, or 0.19 per cent, to 6,281 at 11:15 am.

Turnover stood at Tk 323 crore.

Of the securities, 77 advanced, 56 declined and 171 remained unchanged.

The Caspi, the all-share price index of the Chittagong Stock Exchange, climbed 30 points, or 0.16 per cent, to 18,511.

Of the issues, 40 rose, 25 retreated, and 38 saw no price movement.

Turnover of the port city bourse stood at Tk 2.6 crore at 11:17 am.
