Dhaka, Chattogram trading higher

The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) rose in the morning trade today.

The DSEX, the benchmark index of the top bourse in Bangladesh, gained 16 points, or 0.26 per cent, to 6,278 at 11:15 am.

Turnover stood at Tk 339 crore.

Of the securities, 100 advanced, 37 declined and 175 remained unchanged.

The Caspi, the all-share price index of the Chittagong Stock Exchange, added 30 points, or 0.16 per cent, to 18,505.

Of the issues, 42 rose, 27 retreated, and 50 saw no price movement.

Turnover of the port city bourse stood at Tk 5.5 crore at 11:16 am.
