Bangladesh to face Malaysia in the Women's Emerging Teams Asia Cup on Monday

Bangladesh A team will take on Malaysia on their opening fixture of the Women's Emerging Teams Asia Cup at Tin Kwong Road Recreational ground in Hong Kong on Monday.

Lata Mondol and her troops are placed in group B alongside Malaysia, UAE and Sri Lanka A team while group A consists of India A, Pakistan A, Thailand A and hosts Hong Kong.

Before leaving for Hong Kong, skipper Lata Mondol said that her side is looking to play good cricket however the Tigresses have not set any goal for the tournament.

Bangladesh will take on Sri Lanka on their next game on June 14 before they face UAE on their last group game.

The top two teams from each group will qualify for the semi-final on June 19 where the final is scheduled on June 21.
