The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) traded slightly higher in the morning session today. 

The DSEX, the benchmark index of the bourse in Bangladesh, inched up 8 points, or 0.13 per cent, to 6,282 at 11:20 am.

Turnover stood at Tk 159 crore.

Of the securities, 118 advanced, 36 declined and 121 remained unchanged.

The Caspi, the all-share price index of the Chittagong Stock Exchange, added 10 points, or 0.05 per cent, to 18,558.

Of the issues, 33 rose, 31 retreated, and 39 saw no price movement.

Turnover of the port city bourse stood at Tk 1.4 crore at 11:22 am.
