The Dhaka and Chattogram bourses rose in the morning session today.

The DSEX, the benchmark index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), gained 6 points, or 0.1 per cent, to 6,337 at 11:30 am.

Turnover stood at Tk 207 crore.

Of the securities, 11 advanced, 61 declined and 149 remained unchanged.

The Caspi, the all-share price index of the Chittagong Stock Exchange, added 15 points, or 0.08 per cent, to 18,720.

Of the issues, 41 rose, 33 retreated, and 40 saw no price movement.

Turnover of the port city bourse stood at Tk 5.1 crore at 11:35 am.
