Mithun Chakraborty’s mother passes away

Renowned actor Mithun Chakraborty's mother Shantirani Devi breathed her last yesterday in Mumbai. According to media reports, she was suffering from geriatric problems for quite a long time. The news was shared to the media by Trinamool Congress spokesperson, Kunal Ghosh.

Taking to his social media account, the politician Konal Ghosh wrote, "Heartfelt condolences to Mithun Chakraborty for the loss of his mother. May Mithun da and his family bear this deep grief."
