The prime indices of Dhaka and Chattogram bourses rose marginally in the morning session today.

The DSEX, the benchmark index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), added 6 points, or 0.09 per cent, to 6,343 at 11:15 am.

Turnover stood at Tk 223 crore.

Of the securities, 108 advanced, 50 declined and 152 remained unchanged.

The Caspi, the all-share price index of the Chittagong Stock Exchange, inched up 3 points, or 0.01 per cent, to 18,725.

Of the issues, 41 rose, 25 retreated, and 36 saw no price movement.

Turnover of the port city bourse stood at Tk 2.2 crore at 11:20 am.
