Afsana Mimi to return to theatre stage

Hailing from the golden age of Bangaldeshi film industry, actress Afsana Mimi, who charmed the audience with her excellent performance on screen, is set to return to her roots this time.

The actress started her journey as an artiste from the theatre stage of Bangladesh's renowned theatre troupe Nagorik Natya Sampradaya, and was once a fervent participant of the theatre troupe.

Now, after quite a long hiatus, the 90s famous actress is now gearing up to step on the theatre stage once more. On this note, Afsana Mimi shared, "I am returning to the theatre stage after a long time–I can't really express in words how excited I am about this."

The "Paap Punno" actress further added, "Years ago, I had left the theatre stage with my last performance being in the play 'Darpan', and now I am returning to the stage with the same play. As an ariste, this is truly a unique feeling of happiness."

According to Afsana Mimi, she will take to the stage in the next portrayal of "Darpan" by Nagorik Natya Sampradaya. Under the direction of Naila Azad Nupur, the play is slated to be performed in the coming month of November. 

Afsana Mimi is counted amongst the prominent actresses of the 90's film industry. The star is still an active artiste who frequently makes an appearance in the latest films, web-films and series.

The actress was last seen in the Chorki original web-film "Patal Ghor". Aside from being an actress, Afsana Mimi is also a director and producer who continues to enrich the Bangladeshi entertainment industry with her works.
