Stocks continued its downward trend for the third consecutive day since the beginning of today's trading.

The DSEX, the premier index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange, lost 6.04 points or 0.11 percent to 5,167.5 as of 12:44 pm. 

Some 139 issues advanced, 151 declined, and 96 remained unchanged. 

Total turnover stood at Tk 116.46 crore. 

Fareast Finance & Investment led the gains, rising over 9 percent, while shares of Mercantile Islami Insurance plunged 10 percent.

CSE All Share Price Index was down 0.07 percent, losing 10.29 points to 14,478.94 as of 11:30 am today.
