Musfiq Farhan recovers from health scare, expresses gratitude
Actor Musfiq Farhan unexpectedly fell ill last Friday night and was admitted to the hospital the same day. After six days of treatment, he was discharged and is now recovering at home, where he will continue his treatment for a few more days.
Yesterday night the actor shared his six-day hospital experience on social media, writing, "During these days, I came to acknowledge the meaning of life anew! Many well-wishers, producers, directors, colleagues, and beloved audiences visited me. I greeted everyone with a smile, unsure of what else to say. I hoped to convey through that smile, 'Don't worry, I'm still here, alive and well.'"
Following his admission to the hospital, Farhan was promptly moved to the HDU (High Dependency Unit) after an initial check-up. During this period, his blood pressure remained critically low, causing significant concern among everyone for his well-being.
Reflecting on his internal ordeal, Farhan further shared, "I could clearly see the fear of losing me in everyone's eyes. As an empath myself, it took immense effort for me to hold back my feelings. I kept thinking, that I must live anew for those who care so deeply. "
The popular TV actor spent two days in the hospital's HDU before continuing his treatment in a cabin. During this time, many people checked in on him. Expressing his gratitude to them, Farhan wrote, "I am deeply thankful to everyone who has consistently inquired about me over the past few days. It is your love that has made me the Farhan that I am. Insha Allah, this heartfelt affection will keep this Farhan alive."
It was previously reported that Farhan was preparing to travel outside Dhaka for a shoot at 9:30pm last Friday. While organising his costume, he suddenly fell ill and was immediately taken to a private hospital in Dhaka that night.
As his condition deteriorated, he was moved to the HDU. At that time, the actor's blood pressure had dropped to a critical level of 50/70 and showed no signs of stabilising.
