Notre Dame College holds 8th National Earth and Space Summit

The 8th National Earth and Space Summit, hosted by the Notre Dame Eco and Space Club, has started today at Notre Dame College.
The three-day event, running from February 20-22, has drawn participants from over 100 institutes across the country, all eager to explore the wonders of astronomy and ecology.
The summit kicked off with a diverse program of online and offline events. Highlights include the "Astral Hunt," an astronomy-themed treasure hunt across the Notre Dame campus, and opportunities for attendees to observe the sun through a specialised solar telescope, provided by MICB. Later in the summit, renowned astrophotographer Jubayer Kaolin will deliver an "Astro Talk" and showcase his stunning celestial images in the "Photosphere Exhibition."
"We are excited to have so many students join us for this year's summit," said Md Nazmul Hassan, Moderator of the Notre Dame Eco and Space Club. "The energy and enthusiasm for astronomy and ecology are truly inspiring."
Dr. Fr. Hemanto Pius Rozario, Principal of Notre Dame College, welcomed the participants and expressed his support for the event.
The summit promises to be a valuable experience for all attendees, fostering curiosity and inspiring the next generation of scientists and explorers.
