AL, BNP, JSD file income report to EC

Ruling Awami League, BNP and Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JSD-Inu) submitted annual reports on income and expenditure to the Election Commission (EC) this morning.

A delegation led by Abdur Razzak, a presidium member of Awami League, submitted the report around 10:00am and informed reporters about the report.

The ruling Awami League earned Tk 4.84 crore in 2016 and spent Tk 3 crore.

Meanwhile, BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Rizvi Ahmed submitted his party's financial reports to the Commission this afternoon.

BNP earned Tk 4.13 crore and expenditure Tk 3.99 crore.

In 2015, the party spent around Tk 1.87 crore, while it earned around Tk 1.73 crore in the last year.

 JSD-Inu submitted its report to the EC this noon. Further details about earnings and expenditures of the party, a political component of the ruling Awami League could not be known.

Today is the last day for the registered political parties to submit their financial reports to the EC.
