Manikganj BCL leader’s wrist cut off

Unknown miscreants cut off wrist of a Bangladesh Chhatra League Leader in Shibaloy upazila of Manikganj last night.

Injured Akash Majumdar, 22, is BCL secretary of Ulail Union ward No. 1 in the upazila, our district correspondent reports quoting Md Rokiboujjan, officer-in-charge of Manikganj Police Station.

Local rescued and rushed him to Enam Medical College and Hospital in Savar in critical condition, the OC said.

Akash came under the attack at Kalibari Nihondo village around 9:30pm yesterday, he added.

Police later recovered the sharp weapon used during the attack.
