BRACU ranks Global Top 50 in THE Impact Rankings 2022

BRAC University (BRACU) ranked Global Top 50 for the United Nations' (UN) SDG 1: No Poverty in the Times Higher Education (THE) University Impact Rankings 2022. BRACU also achieved the 1st position in Bangladesh and ranked in the 301- 400 region globally in overall ranking. 

According to THE Impact Rankings 2022, BRACU's performance has been found quite significant in delivering the goals in university's research on poverty and their support for poor students and citizens in the local community. 

THE University Impact Rankings 2022 announcement was released on April 27. The other standings of BRACU in the rankings are top 200 for SDG 4 and SDG 8. 

THE Global Impact Rankings measure the social, economic and environmental impact, in alignment with UN SDGs. The SDGs were adopted by the United Nations to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure that all people enjoy peace and prosperity by 2030.

"BRAC University is fully committed to the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals and we will continue to drive our initiatives in that direction", said BrACU VC Prof. Vincent Chang.
