Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia is ranked among the top 200 universities globally by QS and Times Higher Education (THE) World University 2022 ranking, being among the top 1% of universities in the world. 

Macquarie has been quite a success story in Bangladesh. Macquarie University recently partnered with local education consultancy giant Eduko Pathways Bangladesh. It means interested students can easily access the correct information on courses, admissions, scholarships, career pathways, etc., through Eduko. It is excellent news for students opting to study in a major city in Australia and those looking for a degree from a world-ranked institution that will not eventually burn a hole in their pocket.

সিলেটের গোয়াইনঘাট উপজেলায় গরু চুরির অভিযোগে দিনভর মারধর করার পর এক যুবককে চুন ও বালু মেশানো পানি খাওয়ানোর অভিযোগ উঠেছে। স্থানীয় বাসিন্দাদের অভিযোগ, এতে গুরুতর অসুস্থ হয়ে ওই যুবকের মৃত্যু হয়েছে।
