Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone has taken media by storm by becoming the most followed woman on Twitter in Asia, with a whopping 16 million followers.

The actress surpassed Asian celebrity Agnez Mo to secure this spot. Her journey has been inspiring for her fans for the strong characters she portrayed in her films and for her openness to talking about her own fight with depression, making her a very relatable personality among the fans. 

Deepika was recently listed in Forbes top 100 highest paid actresses in the world, after receiving box office success with her recent films "Piku" and "Bajirao Mastani". She will be seen in the much awaited 2017 film "xXx: Return of Xander Cage", alongside actor Vin Diesel.
