Priyanka Chopra to Collaborate with Vashu Bhagnani for her Debut Punjabi Production

Actress Priyanka Chopra will be collaborating with producer Vashu Bhagnani for the Punjabi film, "Savann". The story revolves around a young NRI who decides to return to India to search for his roots. The actress ventured into film production in 2014, starting her own company Purple Pebble Pictures, focusing on regional movies. The initial parts of the film were shot in Canada and the later parts began on September 5 in Chandigarh. Madhu Chopra, Priyanka's mother, has co-produced the film. The film has been directed by Karaan Guliani and stars Amrinder Gill, Ranjit Bawa, and Simi Chehail. 

The actress will be making her Hollywood film debut in 2017 with the highly anticipated film "Baywatch", starring Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Zac Efron.
