Mushy set to play with broken rib in third ODI
Bangladesh players Mushfiqur Rahim and Mohammad Mithun, who had both been suffering from injuries got their scan reports today and it was learned that Mushfiqur Rahim had suffered a broken rib.
The experienced batsman had suffered an injury to his ribs during the Asia Cup in Dubai and proceeded to play the entire tournament with that injury. He is set to play in the third ODI tomorrow even with a broken rib.
The wicket-keeper batsman had also sustained two more injuries during the practice game at Feb 10th against New Zealand XI where he suffered a side strain and also got a wrist injury. However, the right-hander spent time at the nets yesterday and is expected to play tomorrow in the third ODI while carrying this injury.
Mithun's scan results also turned up and he suffered a grade 1 hamstring tear. The middle-order batsman is set to miss the third ODI but is expected to recover for the first Test.
