Tamim throws his wicket away after sluggish fifty
Bangladesh skipper Tamim Iqbal threw his wicket away while trying to up the ante after he made a sluggish fifty leaving Tigers five down for 186 after 34 overs in the third and final ODI of the three-match series against Ireland in Chelmsford on Sunday.
Tamim, who reached his fifty in 61 balls, perished for an 82-ball 69 that featured six fours. He tried to take on George Dockrell by going down the wicket eyeing the leg-side boundaries but could only manage to sky it as to third man.
His dismissal brought Mehedi Hasan Miraz to the crease, with Mushfiqur Rahim unbeaten on an 18-ball eight at the other end.
