Taskin takes three in one over to peg Ireland back
Bangladesh pacer Taskin Ahmed picked up three wickets in the fourth over of the innings to peg back Ireland after the visitors got off to a flying start while chasing a revised target of 108 in eight overs in the first T20I of the three-match series at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram on Monday.
Taskin castled Lorcan Tucker and Paul Stirling and sent back George Dockrell in the same over to leave four down for 40 runs after the end of the first four overs.
In the previous over, Hasan Mahmud dismissed Ireland opener Ross Adair, who hit three fours for his 10-ball 13 before Hasan executed a spearing yorker to uproot the stumps.
