Bangladesh openers Liton Das and Rony Talukdar got the Tigers off to a flying start but they couldn't prolong their knocks leaving their side at 54 for two at the end of the powerplay in pursuit of England's 156 in the first T20I against in the three-match against England at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium on Thursday.
 

Rony, who smashed four boundaries for his 14-ball 21, was the first to go when he failed to read leg-spinner Adil Rashid's googly that castled the right-handed batter with the score on 33 in the fourth over.

The next over, it was speedster Jofra Archer, whose smart change of pace deceived Liton Das. The right-handed batter tried to play an expansive clip on the onside but ended up skying it to Chris Woakes at mid-on.

Najmul Hossain Shanto and debutant Towhid Hridoy took charge and were unbeaten on 10 runs at the end of the first six.
