Fan comes up with crazy idea to overcome stadium ban

Being prevented from watching your team play must be an excruciating experience for any football fan.

While there is a lot of football on TV, there is nothing quite like watching your football team in the flesh and nothing can quite come close to the atmosphere that is available at a football stadium. One Turkish football went to great lengths to watch his favourite team play after he was banned from attending his club’s matches.

Turkish club Denizlispor’s supporter was handed a one-year ban for unspecified transgression but that was not going to stop him from watching his side’s relegation battle in second-tier.

The fan hired a crane to get the best sit in the house. That’s right. He boarded a crane which he got all for himself and cheered for his side. He was having a great time up there too as can be seen from the footage although, jumping up and down a crane may not have been the best idea in the world.

INews report suggested that police later arrived and lowered the crane so this crazy fan did not get to catch the whole of the 90 minutes. Still, Denizlispor ended up winning 5-0, so he’s probably happy with his decision.

Denizlispor will play their last game of the season away at Boluspor and this crazy fan just might try something cheeky once more to watch his beloved team play.
