Bangladesh Football Federation has formed a seven-member committee to look into national women's team's senior players' complaint against head coach Peter Butler.

The BFF conducted a virtual meeting of the 'BFF emergency committee' on January 30, led by BFF president Tabith Awal.

BFF issued a press release to communicate the formation of the seven-member committee with BFF vice-president as the chairman of the committee.

Senior players have threatened to quit over BFF's reappointment of head coach Butler.

Speaking to the media on January 30, the players expressed their frustration over what they see as neglect from BFF.

"We have nothing to prove anymore. This is about self-respect. At the end of the day, we play for the nation, but it is impossible to endure the criticism we are facing," said captain Sabina, breaking down in tears.

Defender Masura Parveen echoed her sentiments, questioning BFF's decision-making process. "We raised our concerns about this coach repeatedly, but the BFF took no action. When they signed a two-year contract with him, did they even think to consult us?"
