Ramos changes phone number following threats
Real Madrid’s Champions League final victory against Liverpool gave the club it’s third Champions League on the trot but defender Sergio Ramos could not bask in the glory of the epic record because he received death threats following his role in Liverpool and Egypt forward Mohamed Salah’s injury in the final.
Spanish outlet Cadena Cope reported that Ramos and some of his relatives received death threats from abroad and the Real defender was forced to change his phone number.
Liverpool star man Salah was hauled down by Sergio Ramos, which resulted in an injury that put the Egypt star’s World Cup participation in doubt. Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp said following the match, which Real Madrid won 3-1 that tackle was ‘like wrestling’ while MMA analyst Robin Black called the incident both ‘fascinating and devious’.

“Ramos initiates the step-across trip, creates the ledge which is the obstacle, he then applies the rotational force against Salah, destabilizing him and turning him,” Black said in a video.
“It’s a fascinating and devious maneuver. Controlling the arm to use the hyper extension of the elbow to force the body to follow over the tripping leg. Ingenious!”, he added.
Egyptian press reacted angrily to the incident, accusing Ramos of being "a butcher," whilst "Egypt cried."
It seems quite a lot of people did not take kindly to the tackle that injured Salah and Ramos has been subjected to a lot of threats related to the tussle with Salah.
