19 Himalayan vultures freed in nature
Vultures and other birds migrate in search of food during winter. Sometimes they fall sick due to lack of food while travelling such long distances.
In the past two years, 19 such vultures were rescued from the country's northern districts. They were kept at the Vulture Rescue Center in Birganj, Dinajpur.
Following treatment by the Forest Department in collaboration with International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), those vultures were recently released back into nature.
Today's Inside Bangladesh features the endangered vultures' journey back to nature.
