Prabarana Purnima celebrated on small scale in Bandarban

Every year Ashwini Purnima arrives after three months of strict meditation starting from Ashari Purnima. The Marma community refers to this religious festival as 'Maha Waggwai Poye,' meaning the Great Prabarana Purnima. It is considered to be one of the most important festivals for Buddhists.
