Covid-19 outbreak disrupted my momentum: Liton
Despite scoring in Test matches, Liton Das lost his touch in ODIs since the pandemic. After not getting enough runs in the previous eight matches, Liton was left out of the squad for the third and final ODI against Sri Lanka in May.
A wrist injury later on would only go on to compound his struggles. On his comeback against Zimbabwe, Liton saved the team from a dire situation by scoring a stunning century and demonstrated his class in tough conditions. Speaking at the post-match press conference, Liton stated that had it not been for the unexpected pandemic, he might not have lost his rhythm.
