The horror film “Jinn 3”, starring Abdur Noor Sajal and Nusrat Faria, is all set for its digital premiere, following its theatrical release last Eid-ul-Fitr. According to streaming platform iScreen, the movie will be available for streaming starting July 8.
However, just 12 days after its debut, Star Cineplex removed “Jinn 3” from its screens, and the film is no longer being shown in any theatres across the country.
As the film industry gears up for festival seasons, cinema hall owners eagerly anticipate the most hyped time of the year. This Eid-ul-Fitr, six films hit the silver screen: “Borbaad”, “Daagi”, “Jongli”, “Chokkor 302”, “Jinn 3”, and “Antaratma”.
From heartthrob romantic characters to socially charged roles, Siam Ahmed has steadily established himself as one of Dhallywood’s most versatile and dependable stars. This Kamruzzaman Roman directorial is the third instalment of the “Jinn” franchise, produced by Jaaz Multimedia. Although Shajal Noor appeared in the first part, he was not in the second film. However, the actor will be seen in this third instalment. “I can assure the audience that they will be amazed by the film. It may primarily belong to the horror genre, but it is completely entertaining. This time around, the story also includes a blend of action and romance,” he added.
Although Eid-ul-Fitr is still a little while away, audiences are ardently anticipating the films scheduled for release during the festive season.
Nader Chowdhury’s directorial debut “Jinn” created quite a buzz among audiences, with actor Shajal Noor in the lead role. Following its success, “Mona: Jinn-2” was produced, but Shajal was not part of the cast. Now, “Jinn 3” is set to go into production, featuring actor Shajal in the lead, once again.
