A major concert is set to electrify Dhaka this weekend, showcasing a stellar lineup of the nation’s top bands, including Carnival, Meghdol, and Shironamhin, among others.
The much-awaited teaser for the latest season of Coke Studio Bangla, titled "Return of Magic", has been unveiled today, sending waves of anticipation rippling through the music community. Set to premiere on April 13, the third instalment boasts a staggering lineup of over 180 musicians and artistes from Bangladesh and around the globe.
The upcoming season of Coke Studio Bangla will feature a repertoire of 11 new songs, showcasing an eclectic mix of artistes from diverse backgrounds and presenting a myriad of Bangla music genres. Continuing the tradition set by the previous seasons, Shayan Chowdhury Arnob assumes the role of music curator for season 3, alongside fellow music producers such as Pritom Hasan, Emon Chowdhury, Shuvendu Das Shuvo, and others.
Popular band Meghdol has been hitting the stage with their mesmerising performances, captivating audiences across the country from city to city. Recently, on March 7 and 8, they graced Chattogram with consecutive concerts, followed by another performance in Jashore on March 10.

The popular rock band, Meghdol, took to the stage in Dhaka yesterday to mark its journey of over 20 years. The concert titled “Shorote Meghdol” took place at the Liberation War Museum auditorium, near Shyamoli.
A voyage of university friends that initially began when casually belting out songs together on their campus transitioned officially in 2002. That year, these friends finally formed their band “Meghdol”. The popular rock band has now surpassed 20 years together, so now they are gearing up to celebrate this momentous occasion.
