Gias Uddin Selim's latest cinematic venture, "Kajol Rekha" has been drawing widespread acclaim from audiences and cinema enthusiasts across various theatres in Bangladesh for the past three weeks.
Initially, the film will be released in approximately 20 states’ multiplex theatres across the United States, including New York, Boston, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Miami, and Virginia.
Gias Uddin Selim's film “Kajol Rekha” has been released in cinemas across the country this Eid-ul-Fitr. Within a week of its release, the producer revealed plans for alternative screenings of “Kajol Rekha” nationwide. On Tuesday, the director revealed the news at the capital's SKS Tower while attending a special screening of the film.
This Eid-ul-Fitr, an astounding number of films–totalling 11– were released, offering a wide selection for movie-goers. Amongst them, the Shakib Khan starrer “Rajkumar” is predictably leading in earnings in its first week. Directed by Himel Ashraf, the film premiered in a record-breaking 127 cinemas and has been selling out in all multiplexes since its opening day. It is also performing strongly in single-screen theatres.
The film industry is gearing up for the release of several highly anticipated movies for Eid-ul-Fitr. Among them, "Kajol Rekha" and "Lipstick" have recently achieved a significant milestone by obtaining censor certificates, clearing their path for Eid release.
The story depicts the enduring love between a prince and Kajol Rekha, navigating through numerous obstacles while their hearts remain intertwined eternally.

As Eid approaches, Shakib is gearing up for the occasion with his upcoming film “Rajkumar”, directed by Himel Ashraf. Additionally, announcements for several other movies slated for Eid releases have been made. Amongst them are three films starring Sariful Razz– “Omar”, “Dewaler Desh”, and “Kajol Rekha”. Furthermore, there are other films such as Jaaz Multimedia's production “Potu” and another titled “Meghna Konya,” amongst a few others.
The first song out of the 20, titled "Koinnya Ake Go Alpona", was released yesterday. The lyrics for the song have been thoughtfully collected from folk songs and its music has been arranged beautifully by Emon Chowdhury, with vocals provided by Abanti Sithi, Antara Mondal, and Humaira Eshika.
Pori Moni had sent divorce letter to her husband Sariful Razz, on September 17.

Superstar Allu Arjun starrer, South Indian hit “Pushpa: The Rise',' which caused quite the commotion in 2021, will now be released in a Bangladeshi OTT platform in Bangla. In the Bangla dubbing of the film, the character Pushpa Raj will be voiced by our very own Sariful Razz.
