Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra designs reportedly leaked
As Samsung's Galaxy S25 series is expected to debut in early 2025, new leaks have provided an early glimpse of the upcoming flagship's design. A video posted to Reddit, misleadingly labelled "S24 Ultra definitely," has been identified as showcasing the Galaxy S25 Ultra by a leaker named "Ice Universe".
The video highlights a design shift, including rounded corners—an aesthetic departure from the sharper edges of Samsung's current flagship models. These rounded edges align with earlier rumours and leaked dummy units and echo the softer design language of Samsung's upcoming One UI 7 software update.
The video also reveals a glossy finish, metallic edges, and a familiar rear camera layout, maintaining Samsung's signature design elements while embracing a more ergonomic form factor.
Similarly, Google's Pixel line transitioned away from the square edges seen in the Pixel 6 to a more rounded look in recent iterations. If the leaks are accurate, the Galaxy S25 Ultra may offer a more comfortable grip than its predecessor, the sharp-edged Galaxy S24 Ultra.
Additional leaked images and screenshots appear to confirm other details, including the placement of key hardware elements like the USB-C port, SIM slot, speaker, and S Pen. The leaks also offer an early preview of the One UI 7 interface, which Samsung is expected to roll out with the S25 series.
Samsung officially unveils its flagship Galaxy S series at its Unpacked event, typically held in January or February. While the leaked designs have sparked considerable discussion among tech enthusiasts, the full details of the Galaxy S25 Ultra will remain speculative until the official launch.
