WhatsApp rolls out Call Links feature

WhatsApp has rolled out the Call Links feature, which allows users to send audio-video call links. 

The call links can be delivered in advance to certain people's WhatsApp accounts using the 'Call Links' function. By clicking on the shared links, invited individuals can join an audio or video call immediately.

According to WhatsApp, the Call Links functionality allows users to simultaneously send audio or video call links to 32 recipients. This means that only selected people receive the link.

The links are available for use for up to 90 days, during which time participants can take part in voice or video calls.

The Calls tab contains the Call Links feature. By using the 'Create Call Link' option from Call Links, a link can be sent to one or more people's WhatsApp accounts. The Call Links option also includes links that have been sent by other people. As a result, users can instantly initiate and join voice or video calls.
