Tourist spots closed for next 14 days in Rangamati, Khagrachhari

All tourist spots in Rangamati and Khagrachhari were declared shut for the next 14 days to prevent spread of coronavirus infections.

Rangamati Deputy Commissioner Md Mizanur Rahman announced this to reporters after a meeting around noon today, our Rangamati correspondent reports.

All residential hotels and motels will remain closed following the instruction, DC Mizanur said.

Apart from this, all shops and restaurants have been directed to follow health guidelines and to close their establishments before 8:00pm, the official added.

Khagrachhari DC Protap Chandra Biswas announced shut down of all tourist places in the district today.
